Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill musical sets Broadway debut

Jagged Little Pill, the musical based on Alanis Morissette’s landmark album of the same name, will make its Broadway debut later this year. Previews of the musical will begin at the Broadhurst Theatre on Sunday, November 3rd, ahead of its official opening on Thursday, December 5th. Tickets will go on sale beginning Thursday, May 23rd.

Late last month, Obama contributed to “One Last Time (44 Remix)”, the final entry in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton-inspired Hamildrops song series. The reworked track subsequently debuted at No. 22 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart, pulling in 307,000 on-demand streams and 9,000 downloads in its first week.
